Community Groups

Accredited training for community groups, volunteers and service users

Giving local communities the knowledge and skills to improve health and wellbeing  is key to reducing health inequalities.

Health Talks works with local authorities, charities and community groups, as well as national programmes such as Health Literacy and Make Every Contact Count, to deliver training programmes to professionals and community members. Each programme is bespoke, evidence based and can be delivered online or face to face.

Our programmes are inclusive and all of our training materials have been adapted to ensure additional learning needs can be met. As an organisation we are fully compliant with NHSE and local authority requirements for safeguarding and GDPR. We abide by the Nolan principles of public service and meet UKPHR registration requirements.
